Speaking & Writing

Writing:
Chains Falling is a Bible Study I wrote after studying and teaching the book of Hosea.  You can read about the adventure of how this book came to be here and here.

I'm beginning to hear some of the feedback of how God has used it; humbling and overwhelming and totally worth it.

Where I've been:
I would love to teach at your event. Please contact me for more information or for a list of possible teaching topics.

2013

In November I taught with a college friend at another college friend's church in Yukon. The ladies at Covenant Community Church rolled out the red carpet as we celebrated Home for the Holidays. My friend shared about some beautiful easy and budget-friendly Christmas decorations. Her blog is here. She is truly so very talented! I was able to teach my Mary lesson on being a Treasurer at Christmas and not just a Wonderer.

In October I was able to share at the Fallelujah Celebration at FBC Davenport. This event blessed me so much. I got to share one of my favorite lessons I've ever learned about what it really means to Praise. These women encouraged me so much, and reminded me of my early ministry days at a time when God knew how much I needed it. I loved them! {Wish I had pictures of this lovely event}....

In April I was privileged to teach a Breakout session at the Oklahoma Ladies' Retreat. I brought a lesson about our Bitter Naomi and Sweet Ruth, and how to see God's enduring love in the middle of disappointment. It was a monumental blessing for me, so encouraging and amazing.....the whole weekend was fantastic.

Teaching at Falls Creek

We hosted our second annual IBC Ladies Retreat at Falls Creek in January. The theme this year was Beautifully Courageous. I was honored to teach about Daniel, Esther, and the challenge of being counter-cultural instead of anti-cultural. We had 80 women in attendance and had a wonderfully amazing time!

Looking down from the loft at FBC Ada's cabin to see some of the small groups during our IBC Retreat in January.

2011 - 2012
It's been such an honor for me to be able to teach at Immanuel, the church where I minister; both of these events were such a blessing to me.
